Our Program

Why this Program

While parenting children is not easy, raising adolescents is harder and requires a different approach. When your children are young, you have more authority and they seek a sense of security and care from parents. When they approach adolescence, your children begin demanding more independence and their affinity gradually shifts from parents to peers. Many parents wonder what happened to their child so suddenly and their efforts to influence them often make things worse.

What Parents of Adolescents Could Gain From Our EQ Coaching

Here are the Top 10 Benefits of Joining Our Coaching. Every participant will…

  • Learn how to lead conversations that help your adolescent change their perspective

  • Learn how to agree on the conditions of satisfaction and boundaries
  • Learn how to raise legitimate complaints instead of whining and blaming
  • Learn to overcome your parental anxiety and develop trust in your adolescent.

Our Process

Step 1: Understanding Emotions

Improving adolescents’ emotional intelligence begins with noticing, naming, and normalizing their emotions. In this program, they will gain a thorough understanding of emotions and how they work. They will learn to deconstruct 65 emotions and see how they produce the quality of their interactions with others. Upon completion, they will have the distinctions to identify their emotional barriers and shift their emotions when needed.

Step 2: Reflecting Emotions

We have designed a structured learning path with daily activities for reflection and practice. There are weekly goals and participants share their progress with our coach and get his feedback to identify their strengths and areas for improvement. In this program, they are responsible for their learning while we facilitate the process which complies with the International Coach Federation's ethical standards.

Step 3: Articulating Emotions

One of the ways we can expand emotional competence is by articulating our emotions. When trying to solve our problems, we seldom talk about the emotions underlying those problems. Most times, we judge emotions as positive or negative or deny the fact that we even have emotions. This program offers a safe and open environment for adolescents to express and talk about their emotions without reservations.

Our Experts

Why They Love It

Adapt a coaching-based approach to help your adolescents maximize their potential

We offer a coaching-based approach centered around adolescents’ emotions. While parenting children is mostly “managing” their needs, parenting adolescents demand you adopt the role of a “trusted coach.” In this new role, one must lead a different type of conversation that empowers and motivates your adolescents. Asking powerful questions in a non-judgmental manner enables adolescents to think differently and find their own solutions to their problems.
